Dangerous Games

Everyday’s but just a game. Just play along.

Yeah. So I heard even the ppl who go overseas to study have to survive on Naruto through their exams period. Seems like anime has become an international thing, and more importantly, a culture thing. Who hasn’t heard of Naruto please raise up your hand so that people could put that metal piece on their head and use their chakra on you.

So while Naruto takes over the modern anime scene, I’d like to point you back to some classics. Before we really saw alot of ninja fighting kind of anime, we had all the robot animes. Gundam was a major hit. If you don’t believe me, go check out the desks of your teachers in their early 30s, they probably still have one of those white suit super robot figurine on their desk that they can’t seem to throw away even if it makes them look really childish. Then there was also Neon Evangelion Genesis with the 2 sexy cat ladies and the super bio robots that could only be controlled by teenagers with the gift for it. Really cool stuff. A must watch for all anime fans. We also have Ghost in the Shell. Not horror, no… Unless you deem an extremely sexy lady cyborg as a ghost. Well, in retrospect, she is a ghost… without a soul. Explores the complications in an all too humane robot. Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Let’s now shift our focus to the romance department. Sweet. Who doesn’t know the who’s who of F4? Guess what started it? Right. Meteor Garden’s original work was known as Hana Yori Dango and so Dao Ming Si and Shan Cai had jap names! Image hosted by Photobucket.com We also had the romantic comedies like Love Hina with all the cute girls and the big boobs. Right, it’s cartoon so the girls can have as big a cup as they want. No plastic surgery required, just skillful hands that craft the cartoons. Jealous eh? Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Okae. So actually, the romance ones were never really considered classics but you certainly have to know of SlamDunk with amazing characters like Sakuragi and Rukawa. A sports dream that all could only pray would happen to them. Who could forget the catchy opening song performed by X-Japan? Legendary cartoon. I can only say that I truly loved the story. Inspirational to the max. For all who play basketball out there, shame on you if you haven’t seen it or read its manga. Shame on you. Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Even for cooking we had Miao Sou Xiao Chu Shi. Although I truly do not know the english name as I have only ever viewed it in Chinese. Real funny especially when you see the judges dancing around images of enlarged ingredients after they have tasted the food, apparently in great ecstacy.

Back to modern days, we now have really cool animes for grabs. We have driving anime like Initial DImage hosted by Photobucket.com and we have vampire animes like Blood Trinity.

Right. Just to share. These stuff ain’t just for kids. There’s a lot of mature themes in them. As in mature thinking, not that kinda mature mind you.

Yeapz, enjoy!
