Dangerous Games

Everyday’s but just a game. Just play along.

Jack’s Place

Nope, they don’t serve bean stalk there. Nor the golden harp or even the goose if you were guessing.

They serve steak. Sirloin, t-bone, rib eye.

Steak :

Rare – No… not as in common, uncommon, rare. It means it’s barely cooked and some parts will appear bloody. Melts in your mouth, not in your hands.

Medium Rare – My favourite. More cooked than rare but there’s a tangy feeling to the bite and the juice flows into your taste buds. Ain’t too much of a hassle to eat.

Medium – Even more cooked. A sweet balance between rare and well done. There but not there yet. Not much bloody colours left. Tougher meat. Still enjoyable.

Well done – You seriously want it like that? I liken it to eating rubber know? Super tough. And you thought your A levels Maths paper was tough.

Anyway, Jack’s Place makes you full. For the set lunch, they start with garlic bread then soup then the main course that might contain a whole potato with mayo. After which you’ll have a dessert and finally coffee or tea. Thumbs Up.
